DNS-record and TCP-port checks
- Complete and Ultimate can create DNS assertions for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, and TXT records from all eight monitoring regions.
- Raw TCP-port checks run from Finland and four Google Cloud regions, send no application data, and can apply an optional bounded passive banner rule.
- Both check types use the same regional quorum, incidents, maintenance windows, availability, reports, exports, alert routing, and Android API as HTTP and ping checks.
- Public-target and DNS-rebinding safeguards prevent infrastructure checks from reaching private or reserved addresses; indeterminate runner or resolver failures remain Unknown.

GeeksUptime for Android
- Manage uptime and ping checks, incidents, domains and certificates, maintenance windows, notification groups, workspaces, team access, activity, account settings, and billing from Android.
- Android push is opt-in per notification group and reaches the devices of users who can access that group’s workspace.
- The mobile app uses the same account, workspace permissions, and monitoring data as the web application.

Remember me on sign-in
- Optional 30-day durable login cookie (selector + hashed validator), revoked on sign-out and password change.

Reliable multi-region decisions
- Each selected region probes a check once per run, and an incident opens as soon as the configured failing-region threshold is reached.
- If the monitoring infrastructure cannot produce a trustworthy result, the run becomes Unknown and never pages your team as though the monitored service were down.
- Completed runs are final, and only the latest authoritative result can open or resolve an incident.
2026-07
Clearer availability and coverage
- Check details now show expected, completed, failed, and unknown regional results for each monitoring run.
- Unknown runs stay visible as coverage gaps but are excluded from availability calculations instead of being counted as downtime.
- Web and Android details, SLA calendars, and CSV exports use the same run-level availability as web charts, sparklines, and reports.
2026-07
Maintenance windows
- Schedule one-time planned work for a whole workspace or selected uptime checks in your chosen timezone.
- Monitoring results continue to be recorded during maintenance, while new incidents and outbound alerts remain suppressed until the window ends.
- Maintenance windows can be created, updated, and removed from both the web application and Android.
2026-07
Expanded alert routing
- Notification groups can deliver uptime and certificate events through email, SMS, Slack, Telegram, HTTPS webhooks, AMQP, and Android push.
- Slack webhooks, Telegram bot credentials, webhook endpoints, recipients, and mobile push are configured per notification group.
- Workspace-scoped mobile push avoids notifying people who cannot access the affected workspace.
2026-07
More flexible uptime checks
- Create HTTP, HTTPS, and ping checks, paste a complete HTTP URL safely, and test an endpoint before saving.
- HTTP POST checks can send an optional raw request body of up to 8 KB from local, Google Cloud, and Cloudflare monitoring regions.
- The uptime-check list shows sortable 24-hour availability alongside the latest result.
2026-07
Faster incident response
- Acknowledge active incidents or resolve them with optional notes from the incident detail page.
- The Android app supports the same incident acknowledgement and resolution actions.
- Unknown monitoring runs preserve the current incident state and cannot send false recovery notifications.

Public site redesign
- One design system across home, features, pricing, contact, auth, and legal pages.
- Product-UI instruments (console, regions, certificates) replace stock marketing artwork.
- Trust copy limited to facts the product can substantiate.

Growth trial & entitlements
- Every new account gets 30 days of Growth features with no card; the exact end date is stored and shown in the account.
- Plans carry server-authoritative limits and feature capabilities; DNS/TCP checks are reserved for Complete and Ultimate.
